Da Church Featured In Warrior Pride Movie With 'Jesus On My Mind'
Da Church, a duo formed by Marqus Anthony and Miraql3, recently had their song 'Jesus On My Mind' featured in the full length motion picture Warrior Pride starring Trick Trick and Young Buck. The movie is based on a true story about an AAU basketball squad out of Detroit, MI. In addition, Marqus Anthony's solo track 'Born Again' from his album 'Walking by My Faith' was also included in the score.
"We have been in ministry officially for over 1 year now", explains the duo. "In that year we have been on Bobby Jones Presents TV show, performed at SXSW and have been featured on hundreds of radio stations including Radio One.
We were blessed to attend the red carpet premiere at the historic Redford Theater in Detroit, MI with over 500 people in attendance. Our song was prominently included as part of the score for the movie."
