This album shares themes of declaring God’s love, the confidence that comes from knowing Him, and the expectation that we are to step out and share what we know, Warrior’s title track delivers a pulsating, arena-ready anthem with the central message that there is nothing to fear with God on our side.

“I want to show people that they can make it too,” Owens says. “Being a warrior means that my wounds have healed, but I still have the scars to prove it. The scars remind me that I don’t have to worry about the next battle because I know God will be standing with me.”

Natasha Owens really is one of those wonderful talents. She writes music that is always honest, always from the heart and always personal. She sings from the soul and not just for the album's sake. You always feels she is singing from the soul because she really means it.

Warrior as an album infuses honest uplifting songs with tracks that are full of positive messages. If you are looking for an album that has a very strong message then this album is a must. For example 'Warrior', the title track, is about being strong in the hard times. It's not hidden in cleaver lyrical imagery - it says it how it is.

From a purely musical sense this album fits into the contemporary musical world without being a carbon copy of other albums or other artists. The song ‘Just Love’ sounds a bit like a Bruno Mars track, 'Race To Be Run' has a slight pop/reggae sound going on, 'Get Behind Me' is an 80s dance song about the devil getting behind you and then ‘Rock Of Our Salvation’ is a big power worship ballad. This is a collection of songs that ticks so many musical boxes and all have a part to play.

Natasha Owens has made a record that jumps between pop, worship and everything inbetween. Yet at the heart of all of these songs is a message about being strong.
