Sarah Kroger is a Nashville-based, Catholic worship leader and songwriter whose love for music started at a young age. With parents involved in music ministry, she grew up in a musical home and has been singing in church choirs since she was a child. Sarah has spent the last eight years leading worship for events around the world, drawing together people from a variety cultures and church backgrounds under the banner of Jesus. Her passion is to create a safe and prayerful space through her music in which people can encounter the heart of God in a profound way.

Opening track 'For Us' has this really distinctive mood. This airy track is the sound and platform for the whole album. Sarah continues this sound into the track 'Highest'. This is a soft and atmospheric song, yet for me it’s the track 'Highest' where we really start to see the quality and uniqueness of Sarah’s voice coming out. Sarah has this hushed and faint sound when she sings, and during 'Freedom In The Spirit' we again hear this at it's best.

On an album like this there always seems to be moments that might be overlooked, and one of those moments is the piano playing. With the quality of Sarah's voice and her songwriting talent, the instrumentation of the album might be missed. The piano especially on 'Wildflower' is beautiful, and the tone, sound and style is brilliant.

Talking about that track 'Wildflower', it's a wonderful masterpiece. As is the song 'Pieces', with its lovely harmonies it starts off as another solid song on the album - yet this tracks takes a bit of a curve ball, sound wise. It’s one of the first times we see Sarah add a bit of aggression or drive. However you look at it, what I do know is that on this song the band has been given full permission to go to a whole new place, musically. 'Pieces' is by far my favourite track on this whole album, full stop.

There are so many tender moments on here. I keep hearing one track and being whisked away musically to somewhere special and then on the next track taken to somewhere else that is just a different shade of musical beauty. The song 'Overcome' turns into a big beautiful anthem and for me could easily have been the closing song to the album.

If you are looking for big dance anthems then this isn’t the album. If you are looking for lovely gently intimate worship songs, then this album is a must as the production and creative airy worship songs are brilliant.
