The Family Table, a creative agency, rooted in family values, based in Norwich, UK, has released it's first EP 'Conversations Around The Family Table'. The 6-song EP, features two songs each from Ben Lawrence, Sarah Ballard and Ian Mizen, including the song 'Home'.
"We set out to produce a series of songs exploring life, love and family", explains the group. "This concept E.P. is the product of experimenting and collaborating, two things we value highly at The Family Table."

The song 'The Art Of Conversation' deals with a subject about how maybe we don't talk to each other as much any more. Be that due to social media, distractions of life or whatever. The song looks at how we seem to care more about how many likes we get on social media platforms. But at the heart of the song is how we should be an ear for people to have conversations. Engage with people and create true relationships.
The whole album with deals with modern life and its trials and also it's positives. The album in general has a celtic vibe with a mix of country and indie rock. There are storytelling songs, indie rock songs and even a few spoken word poems.
I particularly loved the last minute of the song 'Hollywood'. The song changes dramatically and adds a great new dimension. Please check this song out. The idea behind the EP is fantastic and hopefully we will see more to come from The Family Table.
