The Rocket Summer, the artistic name for singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist Bryce Avary from Fort Worth in Texas, has released new single 'Shatter Us', taken from the new full length album, 'Sweet Shivers', which is released this August.

"It feels quite good to finally be here. Come take a ride with me into the album that I poured my entire soul into last year", said Bryce of the new album, which is available to pre-order now.

Having played every instrument on all five of his previous albums including Calendar Days, Hello Good Friend, Do You Feel, Of Men and Angels, as well as the most recent self-released Life Will Write The Words, Avary is able to cohesively debut a lush, layered, and exuberant indie alt-rock pop sound to cult-like fans around the world. The Rocket Summer has gained a reputation not only for Avary’s multi-threat talent in the studio, but for his and his bands energetic live shows.

Since launching his career as a 16-year-old with the independently released The Rocket Summer EP, Bryce Avary has toured around the world, selling out venues not just in the US, but Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and Japan, while playing such noted festivals as Glastonbury, T in the Park, Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival, Soundwave Festival, Austin City Limits, SXSW, Bamboozle, and Vans Warped Tour. The Rocket Summer has toured with OneRepublic, Paramore, The Goo Goo Dolls, Jimmy Eat World, Relient K, Copeland, All Time Low, Something Corporate, Plain White T’s, Phantom Planet, The Format & many others.

"I try to write songs the whole world would want to sing along to but I also want to make an album of genuine and honest songs written from my heart that musically and lyrically are better than anything I have done before and above all will be an album that would hopefully move and affect people."
