St Aldates Worship Release Single 'Loyal In Your Love' Ahead of Live Album
St Aldates Worship has released 'Loyal In Your Love' (ft. Tom Read), the first single from its much-anticipated live record 'Until You Do (Live)', which is due for international release on 19th July 2019, in partnership with Bespoke Records.
'Loyal In Your Love' is the driving, upbeat and anthemic 1st single from St Aldates Worship upcoming album, 'Until You Do (Live)', celebrating God’s faithfulness and the history of worship within the church.
St Aldates Church, Oxford has been a place where worship has happened for over a thousand years. In modern times St Aldates Worship have cemented a firm place in the UK worship scene - not least through 2007’s pioneering Stand In Awe (led by Martyn Layzell, ‘Lost In Wonder’). Though it’s been 9 years since their last release, You: A Worship Project, a clear call from God led the community to remain hidden and develop their craft- the fruits of which matured into ‘The Annual’ project- seeing the church release a song every month via their YouTube channel throughout 2018. The quiet dedication during these years has already overflowed to the wider church in powerful and connective songs such as ‘Gravity’ (featured on Integrity’s Ultimate Worship 2016) and ‘You Restore My Soul’ (featured on the same-titled New Wine 2018 live album).
‘Loyal In Your Love’ is the latest reflection of this rich history of worship- birthed through the context of the St Aldates story and exploring God’s faithfulness to faithful generations of worshippers. Though the inception was local, ‘Loyal In Your Love’ will abley serve the global church with ancient truths expressed in a fresh way.
‘Loyal In Your Love’ was produced by Henry Marsden (Worship Central, Jake Isaac), mixed by Jonny Bird (Martin Smith, Bright City) and mastered at Abbey Road studios.

Leading worship in a place where people have gathered to worship for over a thousand years can either be intimidating or incredibly inspiring- this rich history has been one of the foundational themes of the new album. To sing the opening line ‘A thousand years of melodies have risen from this place of praise’ with our congregation in a space where people have sung for over a millennium is inspiring enough, but to know that God has not changed in that time is truly awesome."
