Australia's A-Duff Releases Debut EDM Album 'One Life'
Aspiring EDM artist A-Duff from Adelaide, Australia, has released his debut album 'ONE-LIFE' featuring 12 tracks of electronic musical pleasure filled with breakbeats and breakdowns, lush synths and some traditional Chinese flavours.
"Having released a number of singles and EP's for a number of labels around the world, I considered it a personal challenge to see if I could create an entire album I would be happy with", explains Aaron.
"Taking into account advice from my favourite Thessalonikan artist and long-time collaborator Spinnet who encouraged me to produce an album full of variety, I threw my mind back to one of the most inspirational albums I have ever heard - Movement in Still Life by BT.
That album broke new ground covering breaks, trance, laidback electronica and multiple other genres all the while retaining a classic-yet-fresh BT sound. I began recording and collating one or two of my earlier ideas in a very cold winter's evening in Dandong, China in January 2017; improving, creating and refining my productions into early 2019.
I cannot compare my amateur efforts to the master BT, but I am all the same proud of what I have been able to achieve in [ONE LIFE]. My tracks cover a variety in genres and I have even laid down some vocals; but in the end this release is still my uber-melodic sound sprinkled with heavy beats and some glitchy breakdowns thrown in for good measure.
In all, I have given hundreds of hours, discarded a number of not-good-enough tracks and ideas to ultimately create [ONE LIFE]. I truly hope you dance and enjoy it as much as me and my children do!"
