The album is his fourth solo album. "The album is a unique journey into the emotions of love, war, helplessness and rescue. It’s more than just music and singing - the album is an experience", Gray shares. "I hope people see themselves in these songs, like I see myself. I see David in the songs. I want people to come away knowing that God restores and that he protects, no matter what."

Beyond the album’s unique sound, Gray hopes the lyrics will strengthen and encourage listeners, just like they have for countless others for thousands of years. "The songs are written to be personal. I want listeners to hear God speaking to them. Centuries later, the ancient message of God’s faithfulness to remember, rescue, and restore lives on."

As I do with most reviews, I make notes. I put the album on, and sit and listen with no distractions, it's always been my way of doing it. Sometimes my notes may be about a specific part of the album, vocals, lyrics, music, sound...etc. Or I might start writing sentences about the album. Whatever happens, my notes are my starting block for my review.

Yet here I wrote a load of words down about this album, words that jumped out at me. So from this I hope you can get a feel what I think of the album. The album has a Beatles esq 60's inspired sound with it's Folk-ish, Celtic and Indie sounds going on. Vocally for me Steve sounds like Hugh Jackman. Strong vocals with great music.

Not only are the songs passionate, they are also at times haunting and hard hitting. Yet what came to the forefront of the album was it's intriguing creativity. We don't get albums like this to review anymore, this is not your usual worship album that we at LTTM get sent a lot. That’s why I love music, with this album being so different, it really stood out from the crowd. It is so important to not just copy the norm in music.

If you are looking for an album with a bit of difference, then this is for you. Don't expect the latest Hillsong album, expect indie rock music with a whole splashing of creatively.
