Yemi Ayeni Releases Worship EP 'I Bow Down'
London-based Worship Leader and Youth Minister Yemi Ayeni releases her new worship EP, 'I Bow Down', on Friday 27th September. Yemi's music is an eclectic gospel mix, alive with the fluidity that comes with live play, and infectious hooks along with reflective and honest vocals.
Yemi comes from a family of musicians and ministers and is very passionate about Christ-centred worship. She began releasing new music, last year, after a 6 year gap, partly due to long-term health challenges.
Her highly anticipated worship EP features 7 power packed songs, including the previously released single 'Isaiah Song', a depiction of Isaiah's vision of God (Isa 6:1-3). Also included is the first single to feature in Spotify's New Music Friday Christian Playlist, 'You Alone are Holy', an invitation to go before His throne of grace for mercy (Heb4:10), and the title track, 'I Bow Down', a song of total surrender.
Unreleased tracks such as 'My God is Good', released to radio in early September, is fast becoming a favourite. After a pre-release launch held on 15th September, 'Lord You Reign' has been receiving reviews from pulpits and tastemakers across the globe and is rapidly becoming a worshipers favourite.
In this project are songs of reverence and awe that 'seek out' and 'invite in' the presence of God by coming before His throne in total surrender, like 'Power Belongs to God' and 'My God Is Good' which declare His goodness, faithfulness and greatness, 'Lord You Reign' which show His sovereignty, and 'Glorify Yourself', a prayer and provocation for God to act.
