Cutright Releases 'Marvel Us' Inspired By Shazam / Captain Marvel
CHH artist Cutright, from Charlotte, NC, has released his debut album 'Marvel Us', inspired by Shazam, previously known as Captain Marvel.
What if you could speak a Word and be given power? How would you live? What would you do? This is the premise behind Marvel Us, the debut album from the JustHis League veteran. Written as an audio comic book brought to life, Marvel Us, details the journey of Cutright as he comes to grips with what he's been given and who he is destined to become, covering the last decade of his life. With a compelling story, rapid fire rhymes and enough pop culture references to fill a Comic Con, Marvel Us is sure to electrify anyone brave enough to say the magic words.
Cutright has been the music director for the CHH/Nerdcore collective JustHis League for the past 10 years, and this is his first solo project. He has shared the stage with Grammy, Dove and Stellar Award-winning artists such as Lecrae,Mali Music, KB,Tye Tribett, Derek Minor, Canton Jones, Bizzle to name a few.
Outside of doing ministry events throughout North and South Carolina, serving alongside various community outreach and prison ministry events, he has been traveling the country with his brother Ike Hill on their nation wide The Realize Anything’s Possible Tour. "We've had the opportunity to pour into hundreds of thousands of students and staff in 600 schools across 42 different states over the past two school years."
