Dutch All-Star Formation ADEM Project Releases 'No Limit' Single With Montell Jordan

Oct 31 2019

The all-star formation Adem Project has released their single 'No Limit'. The song is a cross-over between pop music and contemporary gospel. Written in English, the song shows that is has been influenced by the various cultural backgrounds common in The Netherlands. The American R&B singer Montell Jordan, known from songs such as “This is how we do it” and “Get it on tonite,” was so enthusiastic about the song that he wanted to be part of it.

The song starts with the sentence, “Welcome home, He is waiting for you.” Filemon Peroti was inspired by the story of the prodigal son from the book of Luke. Whatever you've done, you can always come home, you'll always be welcome. It's a track of hope and restoration.

Filemon Peroti states that “the project started with a desire to effectuate positive change within the 'church' when it comes to music - change that will cause a new generation to connect with the matters of their heart, such as faith and spirituality,”

Their first song, “Adem”, which was in Dutch, has been received well and is being sung in churches and had quite some radioplay.

Filemon has brought together an all-star formation. Montell Jordan, Dwight Dissels, Jay Way, William Wixley, Reyer, Christiana Bohorguez (TV show best singer songwriter of The Netherlands), Abigail Martina (The Voice), Roald Schaap, Elvis E, Chesron Sminia (Rechtsstaat) and Ann Lee are all part of this diverse group of people.

It's not about writing a bit based on a gripping beat or a catchy soundbite. The songs come into existence by sharing life with each other. Filemon expresses what the Adem Project is looking for: “It's about unity, love, a fresh wind, a new song, insanely high quality, innovative worship, feeling at home in the sound. We want to give Adem to The Netherlands and the rest of the world.”
