Lizi Bailey Releases 'Because of Love' Single

Jan 20 2020

Houston based singer/songwriter Lizi Bailey has released her new single 'Because of Love'. The song is her creation of a modern-day hymn and strikes positive energy. The uplifting mid-tempo worship song has a stripped-down and raw feel, like one would hear in an old-tyme Gospel church. The writing is a solid worship message with the lyrics being clear, focused on theme, and showcasing a prayerful strong message. The melody proudly displays Lizi's vocal talent and features self-penned lyrics and composition. In addition to vocals, she also played guitar and strings on the track.

Lizi Bailey is a singer/songwriter with distinctly soulful vocals. She is a multi-instrumentalist with a versatile range of sounds. Influences include Feist, Bob Dylan, Cold Play and Aretha Franklin.

Lizi grew up in rural Georgia with 8 siblings, a classical pianist mother and a 70s rock loving dad. She was exposed to all varieties of music from a young age and started singing and writing music as a teenager. She studied classical piano and violin from childhood and was a huge fan of Chopin and Beethoven but was also heavily influenced by soulful artists such as Whitney Houston, Bill Withers and Mariah Carey. As a young adult, Lizi became enchanted with such singer songwriters as Bob Dylan, David Gray, and Van Morrison, so she learned to play guitar as well.
