Denver Band Whitacre Releasing Debut Album 'Seasons'
Rising Denver-based band, Whitacre, who describe their sound as "Mountain Rock," is gearing up to release their first full-length album, 'Seasons', in April. Produced by Joe Richmond (Tennis, Churchill) and mixed by Yuuki Matthews (The Shins) the albums includes the new single 'Here, Again'.
The band's Christian faith is very important to them. It influences their lyrics, the stories they tell and the way they connect with their audience both in a live setting and via social media. With the addition of new addition of bassist Joe Fischel, this is the first time the full band lineup is on the same page with their faith, which feels really exciting to them.
With a half million streams on Spotify, sold out shows with Mt. Joy, Wild Child and Birdtalker and 100+ other performances under their belt, Whitacre are one of Denver’s fastest rising rock bands. Tours with Family and Friends, Wilderado and Wild Rivers helped lead the band to performing at Red Rocks Amphitheater and a headlining slot at Denver’s 600 capacity Bluebird Theater. Whitacre partnered with producer Joe Richmond (of Tennis, Churchill) on a 5 song EP 'Within The Mountains' Shadows' that was released at a sold out headline show in Denver, Colorado. They are now working on their debut LP, 'Seasons'.
