Cynthia Knight Releasing 'Your Name' Single
Cynthia Knight's new single 'Your Name' is impacting at radio now and releases digitally on February 14th 2020. "The ups and downs of my journey for sanctification have taught me to acknowledge that I need Jesus and to proclaim His name in faith", she explains. "This song 'Your Name' represents that daily need."
Cynthia's full album, 'Whom Have I But You', is dropping in early March. Produced by Jerroll Lehman at Gaither Studios (Alexandria, IN) this full studio project includes eight original songs of worship and celebration written by Cynthia.
Born and raised in China, transplanted to America by God, Cynthia is very thankful for being blessed with many talents and gifts in her life. At a very young age, her artistic parents influenced her with various forms of art, especially performing arts. Music has always been in her life, but not until her teenage years did Cynthia begin formal piano and vocal training. Now she knows clearly that it was God who orchestrated that process. He wanted to use those particular, dormant, and undeveloped talents one day for His own glory.
As a professionally trained classical pianist and vocalist, Cynthia holds a B.A in Music Education from China and M.M in Piano Performance from the U.S. Over the years she has performed on stage as an instrumental and vocal soloist, dancer, announcer, and accompanist. Cynthia is also an active music educator, songwriter and enjoys arranging instrumental pieces from hymns.
