Multi-Platinum Rockers SKILLET Premier 'SAVE ME' Music Video with Fans on YouTube
Multi-platinum rock band SKILLET have premiered the new music video for their latest Active Rock single, "Save Me," on their YouTube Channel. Filmed last month while on tour in the Los Angeles area, the band is also inviting fans worldwide to join them for a Q&A to connect and talk about the song, video, and life amidst the crazy times we're all living in. SKILLET has over 800 million views on their YouTube channel.
About "Save Me," John Cooper stated, "This song is about the darker side of you that you are afraid to show people. 'If they only knew how messed up I am, would they still love me?' This song is about getting honest and asking for help, both spiritually and naturally speaking. We loved filming this video and how it turned out as well. The energy we were able to create visually really matches the intensity of the song."
While joining most of the world in isolating at home, John and Korey Cooper have been creating some acoustic performances for their fans of late and posting them on their social accounts. Last week they created a piano version of "Anchor," and this week they performed an unplugged version of the fan favorite "Whispers in the Dark," both of which have been incredibly popular.
