Former Newsong Lead Singer Michael O'Brien Releases 'Crown Him' Album

Michael O'Brien, the former lead singer of the group Newsong, has released his new album 'Crown Him'. He was the voice behind the number 1 songs For the Flory of Christ, Psalm 40, Rescue, and Before the day. In the mid 90's he was a solo artist with Benson Records and had the number 1 singles What Held You on the cross and If Ever I Forget.



He is most well known for his duet with Natalie grant "When God Made you' which was a top 20 pop single on the AC charts. He is now the featured worship Leader for the Extraordinary Women Conferences and AACC Conferences as well as the Fresh grounded Faith Conferences with Jennifer Rothschild and at the Billy Graham Evangelical Association "The Cove" in Asheville, NC.

He has recorded 5 solo projects since 2007 and has had a top 20 single during the Christmas season in 2013 with a song that he sang with his daughter called "With Us". Michael just celebrated 26 years in full time music ministry.
