Matt Maher's 'Alive & Breathing' Makes Rolling Stone Magazine's Trending 25 Chart

Jun 14 2020

Multi-award-winning and nine-time GRAMMY nominee Matt Maher has made The Rolling Stone Trending 25 list with his current radio single, "Alive & Breathing." According to their chart, the song is the third fastest-rising song this week within all music genres.

The Rolling Stone Trending 25 list ranks new songs receiving the greatest gains in popularity. The weekly chart is measured by growth in audio streams, offering "a truly in-the-moment view" of current songs picking up the most momentum. Maher makes the chart this week just under two songs from rap artist KSI.

Maher performed "Alive & Breathing" live for the first time on the Grand Old Opry stage when he made his Opry debut in February. The song is featured on his album of the same name, which dropped March 6 (Provident Label Group). Since its release, "Alive & Breathing" received an astounding 40 adds out of the box at radio and has been climbing the charts ever since. At press time, it is top 5 on both the Billboard and Mediabase Audience charts.
