Cat Rea has released her latest new single 'Stolen'. Originally from Middlesbrough, Cat started singing backing vocals for local artists and churches at 12 years old. She grew up around lots of live music, and adored writing and singing from an extremely early age. After finishing music college at 17, Cat started gigging, taking musical inspiration from Whitney Houston, Sia, Lauryn Hill, and Sting.
This song feels modern, well crafted, beautifully made and is a real power house of a modern pop track, without being too poppy. I might have said something similar about the first single but Cat makes singing sound so effortless (it isn't) and with these amazing vocals, to what is a really powerful track, you really do have the complete package. I can't wait to see Cat Rea put all these singles together into an album or EP, the world needs to hear these songs.
