GO YE Releasing 'Mark 16:15' Project
Jose Maldonado, known by his artist name of GO YE releases his first project titled 'GO YE Mark 16:15' on September 21 2020. The album has a list of anointed features, like Russ Shanks, BRM, Stedfastt, Guerrero De Cristo, and more.
"The project tested many waters in music but is mostly old school Boom Bap", he explains. "A lot of testimonies of my life prior to Christ and the new change. A 15-year recovering cocaine-addict that STOPPED COLD turkey one day when he cried out to Christ."
Jose GO YE Maldonado was born in NYC. His Father played in Latin bands and grew up listening to Salsa greats like Tito Puentes and Fania All-Stars. He moved to the Washington DC area when he was 10 years old. Jose loved Hip Hop and became a Break Dancer in the early '80s listening to Big Daddy and KRS One.
He gave his life to Christ while serving in the U.S. Army in 1990. that led to starting writing and doing CHH in 2018, dropping Rippin and Runnin, Crucify Da Flash, Dinnah which was nominated and won Video Project Of The Year for the Gospel Choice Awards 2020, Drowning, Rep Da King, Serve Da Lord, Eternal Life the most recent.
