Make a Joyful Noise - Single

Make a Joyful Noise marks a welcome return to liturgical music for Andrew Lloyd Webber after over 30 years. One of 12 special commissions for the Coronation of Charles III and Queen Camilla, the anthem is based on verses from Psalm 98, and was performed during the Coronation service as the new Queen was enthroned. Opening with a jubilant fanfare, Make a Joyful Noise combines the best of the Anglican tradition with an inspired melody straight out of Broadway. A fitting and modern celebration of the king and queen. This EP includes a full performance for choir, organ and orchestra with The Choir of Westminster Abbey, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Fanfare Trumpeters of the Royal Air Force and organist Peter Holder. Track 2 features a recording of the accompaniment alone.
