May I proudly introduce to you a new artist called Jordan Riley who has just released his new five track EP titled Reignited. So what does this six foot six tall artist sound like?
You Make Me Better has a thunderous driving guitar bouncing its way out of the speakers. But this guitar is not mixed with a rock sound, no, it's put together with an infectious dance beat. The chorus might be a one liner, "You just make things better, you do", but mixed with the dance element this is a great catchy chorus.

Breaking Down is a happy dance track. Well that's what I thought at first. Opening with some energetic "ohh ohh ohh's" the song mixes together a very modern worship sound with a little bit of dance. At first I wasn't sure if all the musical styles here fitted together, but after a few listens this song, and especially the lyrics, really stuck in my head.
Jordan has a really great voice with a wonderful rich tone to his vocals, this comes over in tracks like 'Catch Me' and 'Wherever You Are'. These songs are both very strong but for me it's the dance inspired tracks like More To This Life and opening track You Make me Better where Jordan comes into his own.
With some great beats, great musical arrangements and quality vocals, this EP is well worth having a look into. His love and passion for the songs he sings really comes over on this collection of songs. It would be very interesting to see and hear Jordan in a live setting, but until then I'm more than happy to give Reignited another spin on my record player.
