Just looking at the track listening without hearing them you know it's going to be one jammed packed album full of stunning worship songs.
We open with the Tim Hughes & Phil Wickham classic At Your Name, which is a wonderful song. The mixture of vocals from Cathy and her acoustic guitar with the band sound is brilliant. The uptempo This Is Amazing Grace again is a great high hitting track, but it's the hushed vocals in the song Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) where we see the top end of Cathy's vocals, her voice seems to fit this song brilliantly.
I could go on about how each track is brilliant and how they all seems to fit together nicely as an album. But it's the quality of Cathy's voice that comes over the most. With the acoustic element to the album being it's main sound, the album flows together perfectly, which each track working together.
Yet as much as I really enjoyed hearing songs like Waiting Here For You and Cornerstone, what I really wanted to hear was some of Cathy's new songs from her own album as these will sound amazing live. (I'm sure there is time for that in the future).
For now, if you are looking for a strong collection of tracks with one of the best vocalists in the UK, then this album is for you.
