There Is A Hope is a live DVD and CD from the well known worship leader Stuart Townend, who is known today as the modern hymn writer. This 13 track album was recorded live in Ireland and features some guest worship leaders in Aaron Keyes and Kelly Minter from America.

The album is a re-issue as a combined CD/DVD having originally been released two years ago as a separate CD and DVD, so some of you Stuart Townend fans will most likely have this album. With a back catalogue that contains the songs How Deep The Father's Love, The Power Of The Cross and the most well known track In Christ Alone, Stuart has always been known for his poetic lyrics and stirring melodies and has gained much respect with other songwriter for taking the format of hymns and turning them into great what we now know as the modern hymn.
A large majority of you will be able to use this in your personal time of worship, but sadly I couldn't "get into it", yet I know my mother and father love this album and use it as a time of worship in their devotional time during the day. This seriously doesn't mean I dislike the album, I personally would rather listen to something else. The production and musicianship of There is Hope is of top quality and the celtic style comes across stunningly.
If you're a fan of Stuart and his work, I'm sure you will want this album, but for me personally it doesn't push all the right buttons. On the other hand, I can't wait to see what the modern hymn writer releases next.
