Read More Auckland, New Zealand worship team Equippers Revolution have released their second album. The five song EP titled CLRS is available now. After seeing great success earlier this from the release of their album Hands High, the church, quickly went back into the studio.

Equippers Revolution is the sound of the Revolution Youth Movement, from Equippers Church, Auckland, New Zealand. Its core members have grown up in the church, and have been a part of the youth worship team for over 10 years. The creative collective is made up of youth leaders and high school students, and their music has always had the aim of connecting young people to Jesus.

I kind of worried when I read that they quickly went back into the studio to record another album, it worried me that this might be rushed, but thankfully it's not. The sound and style of the album is inspired by the likes of Hillsong Young & Free, with it's modern pop music that they are making this album fits in perfectly with that genre. There is a real fresh feeling to this record, it's a record that is trying to be unique, and in some ways it does and in some ways not so much, but it's still a great record.

The tracks on this EP mold together so well. From opening track 'Senses', which drops perfectly to create a great dance worship track to the brilliant song 'Promises' the style and feel of these songs make them move together as one. Moving on and for me 'Stay' is a quality track and 'Always Enough' is a bit more on the relaxed side of dance music but equally as stunning as the rest of the songs.

The album ends in a very different place than where it started but that lends itself to the feeling of a journey. 'Heaven Is Here' is an epic track and has more of an anthem kind of feel to it. As a group these guys do a lot right, is the album rushed, not at all, is it as unique sounding as they want it to be, maybe, in part. Equippers Revolution have so much to build on from here, I can't wait to see the progress, but for now I am really impressed .
