Britt Nicole's Acoustic EP is as titled, a six song EP of songs from her previous albums and one new song, all performed acoustically.
Sometimes when listening to acoustic albums, there is a feeling of lacking, of something missing, but this is not true of Britt's acoustic album. This entire EP sounds fantastic, it is raw and passionate, really bringing out the clarity and message in the vocals. The vocals are excellent, Britt's voice sounds strong and her passion really comes through.

This entire EP sounds fantastic, it is raw and passionate, really bringing out the clarity and message in the vocals. The vocals are excellent, Britt's voice sounds strong and her passion really comes through.
This EP features Hanging On, Headphones, Walk on the Water and The Lost Get Found from her fantastic album The Lost Get Found, and it also has Set The World On Fire from her first album Say It. As well as a brand new song called Found By You, which is a beautiful, passionate, heart-cry worship song to our Saviour Jesus asking Him to find us, and ending the EP with the words "I have been found by You".
The songs all sound great acoustically and I even prefer some of the acoustic versions. For example Headphones is amazing acoustically, it's strong, and musically more artistic, it will have you moving and singing along. Actually all the songs will have you singing along, wanting to play them all over again and again.
The message in her music is strong, and encouraging for all situations. If you have been having a bad day, feeling down, trying to figure out this funny world, stick this EP on and sit back and soak in the lyrics. Or if you just want to listen to something gentle but passionate, artistically strong, encouraging and focused on Jesus, then this will be one for you.
