Outta Space Love has landed. The long awaited and highly anticipated third albumfrom Group 1 Crew.
This album as with their previous albums does not disappoint, from beginning to end it is packed full of awesome songs. Sound wise, it has the sound that you know and love as only Group 1 Crew could do. However the sound has grown stronger and matured since previous albums, still with their powerful Latin infused R&B hip hop mix but with elements of dance thrown in, showing us that they can still keep it original and fresh and totally spot on for this generation.

This album as with their previous albums does not disappoint, from beginning to end it is packed full of awesome songs. Sound wise, it has the sound that you know and love as only Group 1 Crew could do. However the sound has grown stronger and matured since previous albums, still with their powerful Latin infused R&B hip hop mix but with elements of dance thrown in, showing us that they can still keep it original and fresh and totally spot on for this generation.
All the tracks are instantly likeable and are full of uplifting beats and fantastic lyrics, leaving you flying through ‘Outta Space’. TobyMac makes an appearance on the album, in the song Let’s Go, its a brilliant collaboration. The different mix of sounds and lyrics really shows how artistic this album is, with large anthems, to a very different and surprisingly 60s sounding song called Wait which is in one word fantastic.
Lyrically it is right on, full of positive, uplifting, encouraging and fresh lyrics, laced with adrenaline from Jesus. With songs about beauty, love and living life full. You’ll be singing along, dancing and smiling, and enjoying and loving every minute of the album, the songs are infectious and instant hits.
This album has mass appeal, and some of the songs have already been hits, from their Spacebound EP, and have been featured on America’s Got Talent as backing tracks for the dance group Studio One Young Beast Society. If you are a Group 1 Crew fan you will not be disappointed, if you like hip hop and pop, this is for you. Even if you don’t like hip hop, you may well be surprised, give it a go and check it out.
Stick it on and turn it up, turn it up. It’s one awesome album.
