Ace Augustine have released their new album The Absolute. The band from Pennsylvania play solid technical metal and have performed with Sky Eats Airplane, Anberlin and MyChildren MyBride. Ace Augustine are a young band made up of Tyler on vocals, Alex on guitar, Spencer on Bass and Doug on drums, but don't let the youth of the band distract you, these guys ooze years of maturity.

Let's get one thing straight, this band are a hard hitting heavy metal band and will not be everyone's cup of tea, but what you can't take away from the band is their musical technical ability, which flows through the album. I am always amazed at how good metal musicians are, quick hard hitting riffs on top of heavy drums with stunning fast bass work.
Ace Augustine know how to play their instruments, just listen to fourth track Negotiations to know this. If you like screaming vocals and hard heavy drums and guitars, you can appreciate this is a very talented musical outfit, they play quick and hard, which they do as well as any metal band around at the moment.
With the album being 10 tracks long and only 21 minutes in length, you might feel there could be a bit more from this band, and I'm sure there will be a second album eventually. Ace are a solid band who are tight together and with tracks like Delorean and The Absolute, I am sure metal fans will enjoy seeing this band playing live when they can.
