Kirk Franklin is back with a new album called 'Hello Fear' which will be released on 29th March. The new album I'm sure will be another classic from Kirk, but if you can't wait to listen to the album, Kirk has released his first single from the album called I Smile.
So what are my thoughts about the first taster of the new album?

So what are my thoughts about the first taster of the new album?
Well overall it's positive, as is the message of the track I'm reviewing.
The song starts off with Kirk singing "I dedicate this song to recession, depression and unemployment, this song's for you" and this is for anybody struggling with these hard issues. The song talks about smiling when you're down due to going through a tough time - something that a lot of people are, especially at the moment.
It's a very positive song, with an upbeat sound. When I listen to this song I imagine the sunshine trying to break through the dark rain clouds. After you listen to the song I am sure you will raise a little smile. A great track and if this is what the rest of the new album sounds like, we are in for a real treat.
