GRAMMY nominated, RIAA Certified Gold-selling rock band RED has released the 'The Evening Hate' EP. The EP includes the band’s latest cover song, its take on Fuel’s No. 1 hit song 'Hemorrhage (In My Hands).'
Fans of Red will know what to expect with this release, hard and passionate in-your-face rock n' roll, and with this EP you get just that. Fans of Red will know what to expect with this release, hard and passionate in-your-face rock n' roll, and with this EP you get just that. But for me it's the harmonies on the opening track 'The Evening Hate' that really grabbed my attention. The harmonies are actually quiet beautiful, for what really is quite a dark track. The song itself has an epicness to it, I would even go as far as saying it feels, musically, a bit like an anthem.
The more rockier track on here, with its big bass, drums and riffs, is the track 'From The Ashes', which I think fans will really love. But as with all RED albums there is always a good mix of styles, and the song that is a little less rockier on this EP is 'Hemorrhage'. What comes out here is a brilliant sound and great mix up of musicianship throughout this EP.
For an EP that is only in reality three songs long, this release packs a lot of punch in it's short space of time. The EP is a wonderful stepping point and must be add to your RED collection.
