Sara Groves is a talent, there is no doubt about that, so to see this vocal talent releasing another Christmas album was a joy to hear. Sara's hushed vocal delivery all over this album is a really excellent experience for all. This is very much a reflective Christmas album, it has a quality hushness (is that even a word?) to it. This isn’t a Christmas Party music album like songs from Slade and The Wizards, these are songs for us to worship with, these are 'down on your knees' worship songs.
This album has so many amazing tracks but one track that I must talk about is the brilliant 'Winter Wonderland', this version of the classic song is stunning, have a listen, please.
Overall this studio album is a real joy to listen to. It's the perfect album to have on and reflect on the real reason for Christmas.
