This album has all of her best songs, you expect that as it’s a best of, but it’s great to have all her more well known songs together in one great collection. Mandisa is a talented woman, a truly stunning vocalist, but what you hear on this album is how different and varied her song styles and even vocal deliveries have been over the years. You only have to listen to the different between tracks 'Overcomer', 'Way Maker', 'Unfinished' and 'Good Morning' to hear the different musical styles but also the different styles of vocals and how they come across on a record. For me this just shows how diverse Mandisa is as an artist and how her music has changed over the years as well.
If you don’t know Mandisa and her work (I’m sure you do), this is a great point to pick up her collection of songs songs from her many album over the last 13 years. The songs have been put together perfectly in a best of album, what I do know is that this isn't the end of Mandisa in releasing music, if anything this is just another stepping stone for more tracks to come in future recordings.
