Switchfoot have just released their 'Covers EP' featuring 6 songs the band have recorded cover versions of from Frank Ocean, Vampire Weekend, Harry Styles, Jon Bellion, The Verve, and The Chainsmokers.What I found with this EP is that these songs and these versions are so very 'Switchfoot', they are brilliant. It might because we have become acustomed to the sound of vocalist Jon Foreman so much, and when we hear him sing we know it's a Switchfoot sound, but on these songs his vocals are as sensational as ever.
