This release is all about declaring the church is alive and well and this release does that perfectly. The energy on the release is something else, I can't really be that surprise that this EP is full on from the start to the end as the energy level on all of the Hillsong Young & Free releases are high intensity and that is why so many people listen to and enjoy the music of Hillsong Young & Free.
The song 'Phenomena (Da Da)' not only blasts into life, it drags the listener along with style and a bass groove that gets your foot tapping and the soul rejoicing, add to that an anthemic catchy chorus that everyone can join in with and you are onto a real hit. The big songs keep coming, 'Freedom Is Coming' has a soulful feel to it and 'House Of The Lord' has a modern funky sway. But for all of the energy and excitement of the opening tracks on here one of the most powerful moments on the EP is the intimate track 'Pride Of A Father', the song is a beautiful track that hits the soul when you hear it.
The production of this LIVE EP is brilliant, I would go as far to say this is the closest a live album will get to sounding like a studio recording, but it doesn't lose its live raw and honest feel. It's these songs that are important songs for a generation of people who have every thing at their fingertips on a phone, but this isn't an album to tell a young generation how to live their life, this is an EP with songs to encourage the listener to fall in love with worshipping the King. They do this with songs that are energetic, honest and powerful, but most of all with passion for Jesus.
