Christian pop/rock band DUPREE have released their first Christmas album, 'At Christmas Time'. The album includes their renditions/versions of nostalgic holiday hits that are adored each year by many.

DUPREE is turning heads with their fresh, distinct sound and bold message of belonging. The multi-talented duo led by mother Lauren and son Dylan, originally from East Tennessee, are songwriters and music producers.

Dupree's upbeat music includes smooth harmonies and feature Dylan’s {left-handed} jaw-dropping guitar solos. Dylan's versatile solos have been compared to the styles of Jimi Hendrix, Brad Paisley and Eddie Van Halen which you can here throughout the album, including a very big guitar solo in 'O Holy night' and on the instrumental version of 'O Come O Come Emmanuel

This album also includes two original songs 'At Christmas Time' and 'The Christmas Prayer'. The rest of the album is made up of well known Christmas classics, 'The First Noel,' 'O Holy Night,' 'O Christmas Tree,' and 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas.'

'At Christmas Time'' is an upbeat opening song about being together and what happens in their family at Christmas Time, as with a lot of Dupree tracks it balances the two vocalists together, with each singer taking a line or two each. 'The Christmas Prayer' has a rockier kick to it with an added few lines of "Come let us adore them" and a very big drum roll at the end.

I love the jazz swing sound on 'O Christmas Tree' with the tone of the guitar on this track being a really stand out moment, the lead guitar solos on here are stunning and well worth applauding. I really enjoyed their version of 'The First Noel' and the album ends with a rocky version of 'We Wish you A Merry Christmas' which kinds of finishes the album off as Dupree will want their first Christmas EP to be remembered, a mix of classic Christmas songs but done their own way.

We all celebrate Christmas differently, different family traditions and all that, and what Dupree have produced here is an album showcasing how they think their Christmas will sound, and from what I hear, it's going to be a rocking Christmas in the Dupree household!
