Cori & Kelly recorded some of 'Show Me The Way' this summer at the famous Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Brent Rader, while the rest were recorded in Rader’s home studio in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

The album in general has a soft, acoustic, and a little bit of a country kind of feel to it. What stood out for me is the songs, it wasn't the sound or even the production or even the brilliant vocals of Cori & Kelly, it was that these songs felt like I have always known them, for whatever reason, I had felt like I had been singing along to songs like 'Raise A Hallelujah' for years.

The song 'Lift My Hands' has as slightly poppier feel to it and then 'Pour Over Me' is a beautiful piano led song. I have already said this but the same applies to these songs, I have felt I have known these songs for a while. And all I keep leaning towards is that these songs are quality songs that will stand the test of time.

As an album we jump from country songs like 'Far Away' , to passionate ballads like 'Only You' to pop songs like 'Rainbows', but overall the quality of the songs doesn't drop one bit. If anything, the fact each song doesn't sound the same keeps this album moving nicely.

There are a few co-writes on here with 'Show Me The Way' being composed of 11 tracks that Cori & Kelly wrote over a span of 4 years which included a couple of collaborations. 'Lift My Hands', 'Beautifully Broken' and 'Victory Song' were co-written at a Centricity Music writing room in Franklin, TN, with Ben Calhoun, lead singer of the contemporary Christian band CITIZEN WAY. 'Far Away' was co-written with award winning Nashville songwriter, Corey Lee Barker. I think having a few different songwriting ideas around again keeps this album fresh and moving forward. For example 'Victory Song' has a very different melody, lyric feel and sound to say for example 'Rainbows', yet all together as a collection it works so well.

As a listener I'm glad I spent some time reviewing this album and I count myself now a fan of Cori & Kelly, I hope after you listen you will too.
