Mary began sharing her music during the lockdowns in 2020, eventually releasing 3 singles & a 3 track Christmas EP in 2021. Her style ranges from meditative soaking songs to pop/upbeat/rap to folk/singer songwriter to alternative/symphonic rock. Her background as a drummer and percussionist is evident in her rhythmic guitar playing, in her songwriting and in her singing style. She writes and sings primarily in English.

Even with varied musical influences, she continues to search for the music of her country's history with a hope to one day raise up worship with music that is now almost completely forgotten.

It was only last September I was introduced to Mary and it left me speechless, with quotes of "There are times when a vocalist stops you in your tracks, be it their power, their soul, their tone or something else " and "I haven't been so excited to share with you readers of LTTM an artist that needs to be heard so much for a long time, today let me introduce to you the talent of Mary Ozaraga".

I really hope you have had time to find out more about this artist and if you haven't thankfully she is back again with another stunning ballad. The song was birthed out of a retelling of the passion of Jesus. As much as she wanted to point out the unimaginable, cringe-worthy imagery without sugarcoating, she also wanted to paint it in words and melody as beautifully, creating a backdrop of mellow to a bit grungy production.

The harmony vocals are something really special on this song. I kind of take Mary's vocals for granted but again she has produced an amazing and beautiful track, this really is a simply beautiful ballad that deserves to be heard. Mary has such character to her voice and for me that is and always will be the biggest draw, to keep wanting to hear more from this wonderful artist.
