Manchester based girl group BlushUK are hoping to use the video to their song 'Not Alone' to persuade people to donate money to Compassion International's Haiti Earthquake Appeal. In a statement Kingsway said: "All of us were left stunned by the earthquake that devastated Port-au-Prince, Haiti on January 12th. And as days have passed, that sense of shock has deepened as the suffering and tragedy continues to plague the country. At Kingsway many of our artists have visited Haiti over recent years. One group - blushUK - returning from the country in 2007 after their trip with Compassion UK, recorded 'Not Alone' - a song written as a response to the extreme poverty witnessed at first hand on their trip.
Like many others they saw that 8 out 10 people in Haiti were living in severe poverty before the earthquake struck last Tuesday. Today that poverty places even more people in an even more precarious situation. More than ever, the people of Haiti need to hear - and see - that they are not alone."
You can watch the video below, and if you feel able to, please donate money to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal through Compassion UK.
