J. Douglas Wright Releases Christmas Single 'Follow'

Nov 27 2020

J. Douglas Wright releases the Christmas single 'Follow' on November 27th, 2020. The song describes several familiar snapshots from the night Christ was born: shepherds, wise men, angels, and the baby in a manger. Coinciding with this was a land filled with unrest. Little did the people of that day know that at the very moment they were feeling hopelessness, the Savior of the world had been born.

The theme of “Follow” is that God is at work in ways we cannot see. The shepherds, wise men, and Mary and Joseph all uprooted their lives to follow a star, knowing in their hearts what they would find if they continued to follow its light. With that kind of faith, we can also know that the Maker of the Universe is at work doing much more than our earthly eyes can see. All we have to do is follow Him.

"Follow" features Derek Mount (Family Force 5, Club Danger, Brique a Braq) on guitar, Torin Degnats on drums, and Swaff on bass guitar. The song was produced by Swaff (Housefires, Family Force 5, Decemberadio, Third Day, JJ Weeks Band, After Edmund, 7eventh Time Down) and was recorded at The Delivery Room in Villa Rica, Georgia.
