FKA Promise Releasing New Single 'Break Through'
FKA Promise releases a new single titled 'Break Through' on April 12. "This song came to me over a few mornings when I woke up with ideas running through my head", explains Danny, the man behind FKA Promise.
"I usually wake up with songs in my head - it could be anything, but every now and then it is something original. I felt a real "darkness to light" story happening in the song, and asked my friend and worship-leader if he would record his testimony for me to sample. The song is kind of Neo-Electro track with some Hip-Hop and Trap influences. I wanted a quite a soft vocal which gets stronger in parts and softer in others, and a hook that was quite powerful. I felt this was a natural progression from my first 2 EP's last year, and I'm planning 2 more single release before getting my 3rd EP out towards winter time."
FKA Promise is a singer/songwriter, producer multi-instrumentalist and MC. FKA Promise aims to bring together a range of musical styles which reflect his journey. Having come through a troubled life of pain and addiction, to a new life as a Christian, his music aims to testify to the goodness he has experienced, since being saved.
