Ambient Worship Duo Salt Of The Sound Release 'When I Rest Here' Ahead of New Album

Sep 20 2021

Critically acclaimed husband and wife duo Salt of the Sound (Anita & Ben Tatlow) have released 'When I Rest Here', the first single from their forthcoming new album 'Made Whole', which releases on October 15th.

Following in the footsteps of their 2019 EP 'And on Earth, Peace', which was selected by Christianity Today as one of their top five Christmas releases of the year, this new album is produced in the duo’s signature ‘ambient worship’ style, featuring a mix of ethereal vocals, organic instruments and cinematic soundscapes.

Currently living in Hong Kong, the aim of Salt of the Sound is to create songs that encourage spiritual reflection both in church environments and in times of personal quiet. Music by the duo has been widely played on media platforms around the world, from Disney + to BBC radio, and has also been featured in campaigns by international brands including UNICEF, Siemens, and TEDx.
