GATLofficial Releases 'Build My Trust'
Friday 28th January sees the second release from GATLofficial, 'Build My Trust'. This comes after their debut single 'Mary Did You Know?' released on 25th December 2021.
This is another Lo-Fi rendition, inspired by the popular worship song, Build my Life by Housefires, which encourages people to look to Jesus and focus on him in all His awesomeness. GATLofficial takes this song a step further by focusing on the Trust aspect, asking the Lord to build our trust in Him.
This song follows the same theme as the first release of Trust + Pray, echoing the title of the upcoming album due to be released later this year.
‘Build my Trust’, aims to hold the attention of the listener by playing the chorus of Build my Life as the memorable melody. Idrees pulls on the foundations of Lo-Fi but layers it with his CCM influences, chord 4, 6 and 2 deliberately leaving the chord 1 ambiguous. Isaac takes the well known looped animated visuals of Lo-Fi by adding story aspects, allowing the visuals to change in line with the tone and momentum of the song.
Idrees and Isaac are excited for this to be heard and seen by all, especially when the listener is wanting to be in a ‘chilling out’ space or in a state of reflection. ‘Build my Trust’ can be streamed and downloaded from online music platforms.
Idrees Oloyede of Divine Keys (Musician/Producer) and Isaac K. Busari (Graphic Designer & Illustrator) are combining resources to release music under the united name of GATLofficial which stands for Gospel According To LoFi. The main purpose of GATL is to provide Good Music, Good Vibes and Good News through everything that is created.
