Joshua Luke Smith & George Glew's Wild Sons Collab Releases 'Hold Me Back'
Just a few weeks ago artist, poet, producer and author, Joshua Luke Smith announced he has teamed up with friend, artist and producer, George Glew on a new collaborative project they’ve called Wild Sons.
Wild Sons is the collaborative expression of Joshua Luke Smith and George Glew. The project is genre defying and eclectic with potent lyricism and emotive melodies. Exploring themes of resistance and loss, childhood and existentialism, each song creates a world of it’s own, spanning the sounds of Hip Hop and folk, poetry and alternative pop.
Just weeks after first single, Echo, latest offering, Hold Me Back, is fiercely energetic, provocative and powerful.
Describing the track Joshua says, “The track speaks of our daily battles, from mental health challenges to spiritual resistance as well as standing up against corruption and in doing so, does not hold back.”.
Accompanying the track is a compelling video, directed by Joshua Luke Smith and Dominic Doring and beautifully shot on film. It stars incredible dancer, Jamal Sterrett Phoenix.
