Louder Than The Music

Soprano vocalist, violinist, speaker and author Jean Watson is to release stunning new single 'Nella Fantasia' on Friday April 29th 2022 ahead of her new album 'Home', releasing May 2022.

'Nella Fantasia' ('In My Fantasy') is sung in Italian and based on the theme “Gabriel’s Oboe” from the film ‘The Mission’ (1986).

The piece was composed by Ennio Morricone and Italian lyrics by Chiara Ferraù. Classical cross-over artists including Sarah Brightman and IL Divo have performed the piece. It is Jean Watson’s new rendition and performance of the piece that is poised to engage listeners across the world. The track’s breathtaking production is partnered with poignant lyrics of peace, justice and freedom for all; sentiments that are felt across our world today (English lyric translation below).page1image38162368

Jean Watson says, “I have always found my greatest joy in knowing that my music has made a difference in someone’s life. Some of my most profound moments as an artist were in places where hope was greatly needed, like prisons and homeless shelters. I am thrilled to be singing a song with a message of world peace that is deeply needed at this moment in human history. Beyond that, I am excited to be able to go back to my classical roots as a singer and also feature my skills as a violinist!”

“Nella Fantasia” is produced by recording veteran and musician Billy Smiley at Shadowlands Music, Franklin, Tennessee.

Jean has been the keynote speaker at conferences all over the world.
