Tasha Layton's Hit Single 'Never' Inspires Compelling New Video

Oct 16 2023

Chart-topping singer/songwriter and BEC recording artist Tasha Layton adds another powerful video to her growing anthology with the compelling performance of “Never,” also her current hit single on Christian radio. Featuring a rousing choir and dramatic string section, the clip was directed and produced by Daniella Mason, with creative direction and styling by AYA Creative.

Layton’s “Never” video joins fan favorites “Look What You’ve Done,” “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK),” and “How Far,” which together have amassed millions of views.

“The ‘Never’ video is special to me,” says Layton. “With a new string arrangement by our longtime friend Brandon Collins, I believe this remix will allow listeners to hear-and see-the song in a different way. The combination of the choir and string section are powerful and I hope viewers will be able to feel the passion that was in the room while we were shooting. I believe wholeheartedly in the message of ‘Never,’ so it’s very meaningful to have brought the song to life in this way.”

As heard in the video, “Never” (Collins String Version) is featured on Layton’s recently released Never (Extended Single Release) EP. Highlighted by the hit single “Never,” penned by Layton, Keith Everette Smith, AJ Pruis and Matthew West, the EP also includes a rendition of the song featuring Matthew West, as well as an acoustic version of the track.

Layton is currently sharing “Never” with audiences across the country as a special guest, along with Hannah Kerr, on Big Daddy Weave’s “Heaven Changes Everything Tour,” and she will also spotlight the song on her own headlining tour, with special guest Jeremy Rosado, beginning later this month.
