Forsaken Hero Release 'You Are the Light (We Praise You)'

Forsaken Hero while mostly releasing CCM Music in recent years, doesn't forget their rock roots with their new single, “You Are The Light (We Praise You)”. Forsaken Hero has been touring this song since it came out with their album "Q&A (The Stages of Belief)" in May of 2023.


Fans have been begging to hear this song on the radio since they started hearing it live! At every venue, fans quickly catch on to the lyrics and begin shouting it out with the band. This song was Nominated for a Dove Award in the first round of voting of the 2023 Awards voting cycle in the rock category.

Forsaken Hero is a CCM family band (Price and Collins Families) based in the Appalachian Mountains of South West Virginia/North East Tennessee. Their music, combined with worship experience, opens the door for growth in one's spiritual journey, getting to know God. Forsaken Hero has shared the stage with artists such as SKILLET, for KING & COUNTRY, We The Kingdom, Newsong, JJ Weeks Band, Finding Favour, Building 429 , Sidewalk Prophets, Josh Wilson, Stars Go Dim , Ryan Stevenson, Caitie Hurst, Fireflight, Decyfer Down, The Protest, Aaron Cole, Remedy Drive, Stryper, Disciple and more! Their Christmas song, "Born In Bethlehem" hit Billboard Charts 3 times and since 2018 has become a Christmas classic in many households. In 2021, Forsaken Hero received a Dove Award nomination for their song "Drop Your Chains" ft. weRcalled. In 2023, 3 songs off of Forsaken Hero's new album "Q&A (The Stages of Belief)" were Nominated for Awards in multiple categories at The 54th annual Dove Awards.
