Kate Simmonds & Phatfish Record 'The Grace EP'

Oct 07 2010

Singer/songwriter Kate Simmonds has teamed up with British group Phatfish to record the three-track digital release 'The Grace EP'. The EP includes two new tracks written by Kate, which were used at the New Frontiers conference Together On A Mission, 'Grace' and 'Wake Up My Soul'.

Also included is a new arrangement of the hymn 'Here Is Love', which has an additional chorus that Kate wrote. The recordings feature Kate's vocals with Phatfish backing her. All the songs were heavily used at the Brighton Leaders Conference 2010, where 'Grace' became a key theme song for those four days with leaders from all over the world.

"They are great, upbeat tunes which are full of Biblical truths proclaiming the wonder and perfect plan of God to pour out His grace and unconditional love on the earth", says Church of Christ the King (CCK) Brighton. "You will find your head nodding and yourself tapping your foot as you get caught up in the wonderful music."

The EP, complete with PDF sheet music, is available to download from shop.phatmusic.net
