The Fray, a band I have to admit I haven't had much time for, first of all they all look like boring students with not much to say and got put together as a band as they didn't have a Geography lesson on a Thursday Afternoon. Maybe this is a bit harsh, and maybe you should never judge a book by the cover.

Their debut album from 2005 "How to Save a Life" was a massive global hit, and was given raving amazing reviews which pushed them forward towards global Fame. Now the band are back with their latest album "The Fray" (why do bands do that, name their second album after themselves, stupid).
So what does this album sound like? Honestly it's much of the same from their first album, piano lead indie Rock. But there is a big twist there tracks are much catchier and also more creative. Track Absolute should be given extra mention, think of the drums of Snow Patrol - Chocolate, vocals of Keane and guitars of a band called The Thrills and you're there.
If you like the First Album or any of the bands I have mention in this review, you will enjoy, even love the new album by the band. The Fray is a good album sadly not a classic, it's much of what I have heard before and to be honest the music scene in the UK has moved onto something new. It's not until last but one track "We build and we break" do we see a different side to the band, maybe more of that next time.
As said before, not a classic, but not a band indie sing-along nice album, and nice is probably the best word I can think of to describe it.
