Mandisa Reveals Details Of Her New Album 'What If We Were Real'

Details for the new album from Mandisa, 'What If We Were Real', have now been confirmed. The album, released on 5th April 2011, features eleven songs including the single 'Stronger' and was produced by Chris Stevens (Carrie Underwood, TobyMac), Dan Muckala (Amy Grant, MercyMe) and Chance Scoggins (Natalie Grant, Sandi Patty).

'What If We Were Real' is the third studio album from the two-time Grammy nominee and American Idol season five finalist. Mandisa's debut album 'True Beauty' was the best-selling new artist album of 2007, and her second album 'Freedom' received a Grammy nomination.

Mandisa shares that her new record is "all about taking the masks off, and really letting the world see that we as Christians, It doesn't mean we don’t go through difficult times, doesn't mean that things are always great in our lives. It simply means we have a relationship with the Savior who is able to bring us joy and peace in the middle of our difficult times."
