Louder Than The Music

Singer/songwriter Matt Wertz releases his first Christmas album 'Snow Globe' today, 25th October 2011. The 12-track album, produced by Ben Shive, features guest vocals from Amy Grant, Brandon Heath and Dave Barnes.

"There is a reverence to making Christmas music," says Wertz. "Instead of making the song serve me, I tried to serve the song. I wanted to make a Christmas record my grandkids would listen to someday."

Hailing from Liberty, Missouri, Matt Wertz has gained a considerable fan base through his performances at YoungLife camps and the release of five full-length studio albums. Matt has also toured with the likes of Ben Folds, Five For Fighting, Jamie Cullum, Gavin DeGraw and One Republic. To date, his songs have been featured on shows including Brothers and Sisters, Wildfire, and One Tree Hill and can be heard in the movies Employee of the Month and My Super Ex-Girlfriend.
