Christmas Release From Lindsey In Aid Of 'Mum's The Word' Charity

Dec 15 2011

London based independent singer/songwriter Lindsey has released a two-song Christmas single, with all proceeds going towards the charity she runs called 'Mum's The Word' that collects used children's clothing and personally distributes them to those in need around the world.

The single features a beautiful version of the traditional carol 'O Holy Night' plus the self-penned song 'This Time of Year', written for those who don't always find Christmas the easiest of times.

"Christmas for me is one of the most special times of year, I'm lucky to have great family and friends to share it with", said Lindsey. "However, I do know from personal experience that Christmas is often a time we remember those who we've lost, who we wish could share the time with us. It is a time for cheer, but also a time for remembering."
